My Journey as a Caregiver: A Tribute to the Amazing Seniors and Families I’ve Had the Privilege to Serve
For over 20 years, I have dedicated my life to caregiving, and it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. Throughout this time, I have had the honor of working with countless wonderful seniors and their families, each of whom has left an indelible mark on my heart. My experience spans multiple communities here in Tucson, AZ, where I have developed a deep passion and understanding for this particular population.
Expertise in Senior Living
One of the key aspects I have learned over the years is the importance of quality senior living. It’s not just about finding a place; it’s about finding the right place. I make it a priority to get to know the caregivers and directors of each community to ensure that I only recommend the best environments for seniors. This commitment to excellence has always been my guiding principle.
Advocacy for Alzheimer’s Association
In addition to my caregiving role, I am a passionate advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association. I am committed to continuously learning and providing support to families who are navigating the challenges of memory care. Alzheimer’s and other memory-related conditions require specialized care, and I am here to offer guidance, support, and resources to those in need.
Honoring Remarkable Individuals
I would like to take a moment to recognize two remarkable individuals who have touched my life deeply.

Margie was an incredible client who battled Parkinson’s disease and dementia simultaneously. She was not just a teacher and a mother, but also a wonderful friend. Her strength and resilience were truly inspirational, and her memory will forever be cherished.

Anne is another amazing individual who is currently fighting Alzheimer’s. We work diligently each week on memory exercises to help her in this challenging journey. Her determination to save her brain is nothing short of heroic.

Pat a grandpa, father, and friend. Pat fight’s everyday to remember his closest family members, but he stay’s happy and kind. I love Pat..

Grandma Wanda, sadly my grandmother passed this year, she was a very special grandma. We were lucky to have my grandma stay at home, we were able to provide private care for her there, my mother being her main caregiver .
